a. Note:   He and wife are not known to have had any children.
  1880 census from Kildare Twp, Swift County, Minnesota shows both 31 yoa.
  1895 state census he is shown as farming. He is listed at 44 and Johanna is 47.
  1900 census from Kildare Twp, Swift County, Minnesota shows both born in 1853, which may be wrong. Shows Thomas arrived in U.S. in 1870. Does not show when Johanna arrived and that she was born in Canada.
  1905 census same town, shows Thomas is 53 yoa and Johanna is 56 yoa. She is shown born in New Brunswick and he in Ireland. They are living at RR2. Says they have been in Minnesota for 28 years and 5 months as of June 5, 1905. This would put them leaving Illinois shortly after they married.
  1910 census same town shows Thomas is 60 and no age for Johanna. It does say she came to U.S. in 1864. Thomas is shown to have immigrated in 1870.
  1915 death certificate states he was born in 1852, unknown date in August.
