a. Note:   In 1947 his residence was 5529 West 24th Street, Cicero, Illinois. This information comes from a letter to Concordia Cemetery requesting his son James be buried in Albert Schulz plot in 1947.
  Robert is buried in Arlington National Cemetary along with his wife. His tombstone shows he was from New Mexico, but that may be where he enlisted. He was a Master Sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
  On the 1910 census, which was taken April 29, he is listed under the name Lawrence. His mother probably changed her mind as to what to name him. She was known according to family to use the same name more than once.
  His death certificate shows he died while enroute to the Air Base hospital.
