Note: Cheryl was diagnosed with breast cancer in Aug. of 1990. After a mastectomy she continued her treatment with chemotherapy and radiation. Since she had a very rare and aggressive form of cancer her prognosis was poor and after a valiant fight she died. She was sent home from the hospital when it was determined that no more could be done for her there. Her family cared for her at home until her death.
