a. Note:   Gilbert Young - Gilbert Young, 83, RD 1, Tod SW Ext., died Monday at 5:30 p.m. at his home of heart complications. Mr. Young was born in Kelly Station, Pa., Dec. 1, 1856, the son of Gilbert and Sarah Young, and had resided in Warren for the last 39 years. he formerly resided in Oakdale, Pa. Sixty-three years ago he married Kate Doyle who preceded him in death four years ago. He was a member of Garfield Lodge, No. 604, F. and A. M. of McDonald, Pa., and the Temple Club of Carnegie, Pa. Surviving are: one daughter Mrs. Altha Lutz at home; two sons, Malcolm of Greensburg, Pa., and Frank of Fresno, Calif.; one brother, Thomas Young, of Fryatt, Ark., and four grandchildren. The body was removed to the Gillen Funeral Home, High NE, where service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. C. L. Rush. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 tonight and Wednesday night. (Source: Warren Tribune, Warren, Ohio 11 June 1940.
