a. Note:   On the 1900 PA Census, Allegheny County, North Fayette Township, Kate was listed as having born four children with three living. Also on this census her birthdate is given as July 1959, while her death certificate and obituary both say 04 July 1860. Mrs. Katherine Young - Mrs. Katherine Young, wife of Gilbert Young, Lordstown Township died at her home Monday night of complications following a lingering illness. She was born July 4, 1860, in Ireland and was a daughter of William and Katherine Doyle. Surviving is her husband, two sons, Malcolm of Greensburg, Pa., and Frank in California; one daughter Mrs. Altha Lutz of Lordstown, and four grandchildren. The body is at the Gillen funeral home and funeral announcement will be made later.
