Note: Notes from Cecelia Lutz. John Henry Lutz's wife Therese's family moved from Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania to Warren, Ohio the same year as the Lutz family. John Henry and Therese bought their farm on Kibler-Toot Rd in 1918 where they raised their family of six children. Their grandson, Harvey and his wife Dolly along with their son John Harvey now live on the family farm. John Henry told his daughter-in-law Cele Byrnes Lutz that he was baptized at St. Michael's Church, South Side, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. J. Henry Lutz, Retired Farmer, Is Dead at 92 John Henry Lutz, 92, Kibler-Toot Rd. died at 7 p.m. Friday in the Gillette Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 10, 1881, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of John M. and Catherine Hoffmann Lutz. On May 30, 1909 he married Theresa Eschman, who died in May, 1969. He was a retired self-employed farmer. He was a member of Christ Our King Church and a life member of Knights of Columbus Council 620. Survivors include three sons, Ralph H., Alvin E. and Regis F., all of Warren; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Marguerite) Richmond of Warren, Mrs. Roy (Cecilia) Williams of Vienna; a brother, Joseph D., and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Agatha) O'Brien, both of Warren, 24 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Lewis Goffin, died in 1939. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Christ Our King Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCardell-White Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The K. of C. and parish will conduct a prayer service at 7 p.m.
