Notes
a. Note:   According to Margaret Peruchetti Hall, who was told this information by her mother-in-law, Robert Hall was a rather grumpy man. Bud David Hall and his wife lived with Robert and Margaret Hall when the younger Mrs. Hall was pregnant with Uncle Jack. Supposedly Uncle Jack was "marked by this" and that is why he is also rather grumpy. August 14, 1996. From Lura Hall's family bible. She has it marked in the Bible that Robert Hall had a brother named Alf. She stated that Alf lived in Boaz (Marshall County), Alabama. According to Lura Mardis Hall, Robert Hall and his family followed the sawmills around the countryside for a living. Robert hauled logs to the sawmill and would then haul the finished lumber to town to sell. At the time of her marriage to Leonard they lived in a tent with an open air kitchen located away from the tent. Further conversations with other family members reveal that many of the family members, including Vicie and family, all lived in the same tent at times. October 10, 1999 talk with Lura Mardis Hall and her son "Cotton" at her home - They believe that Robert Hall bought property just down the road from Lura's present home (county road 1518) from the Pruitts and that sometime before the mid 1920's that he must have lost this property. When Lura first remembers meeting the Halls before her marriage to Leonard they were living in Vinemont. When she and Leonard married in 1928 the Robert Hall family was living near Brushy Pond, Alabama. Jessie Hall Conrad also remembers Robert and Sarah Margaret Hall living down the road from Lura Hall's present home.
