Note: Frank never married. He had scarlet fever and diphtheria when he was two or three years old which caused loss of hearing. The family spoke German at home so that was what he spoke as an adult. He stayed at home and helped on the farm. When his mother died, he lived with his brother Martin for a time, then John Lutz and John's wife Catherine, until Catherine was widowed and sold the farm. He then lived with his nephew,(John and Catherine's son) Dan Lutz and his wife Hazel in Ravenna and Newton Falls, Ohio for a short time and then with nephew John Henry (Dan's brother) and his wife Theresa. He died while husking corn, apparently of a heart attack, in 1931. John and Catherine Lutz's daughter Elizabeth Carr went with the body to Pittsburgh for burial near his parents, probably in St. Michael's Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
