a. Note:   Notes for Lemuel Wing: From Dick Bucknum's Manuscript: Wing, Lemuel, Sandwich. Private, Capt. Ward Swift's (2d Sandwich) co. of militia, which marched in response to the alarm of April 19, 1775; service, 3 days; also, Capt. Swift's co., Col. Freeman's regt.; service, 10 days, on an alarm at Dartmouth and Falmouth Sept. 6, 1778. April 26th 1779 Lemuel Wing & Mercy Gray both of Sandwich were married by the Revd Gideon Hawley.
