Harrington, 83, of RD1 Troupsburg, died in a fire at her ho me la st Wednesday, March 6th, 1974. She was the widow of William D. Harri ngt on and had resided in the Troupsburg area all of her married life. T he fam ily received callers at the H.P. Smith and Son Funeral Home in Wood hull, F riday afternoon and evening. Funeral services were held there Satu rday mor ning at 11 o'clock, with the Rev. Joseph Shipman officiating. Bur ial was m ade in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Troupsburg. She wa a member of the T roupsbu rg Grange, and was born in Brookfield, Pa. Nov. 19, 1890 a daught er of Bu rr and Lucy (Davis) Cady. Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Melvin (M ildred) B liss of Troupsburg, RD1; two sons, the Rev. Dorr Harrington of S ilver Spri ngs, NY and Craig Harrington with whom she resided; a sister, M rs Rena Gu nn of Troupsburg; 12 grandchildren 32 great-grandchildren and f our great-g reat-grandchildren.
