I did a little research and found that Christian Miller appears in both Shenandoah County and Morgan County in 1820, so that appears to support that conclusion. This book does not say where Jacob Miller, the first one mentioned, comes from, but if Christian's son Philip was b. 1772 in Woodstock VA, it would stand to reason that his other children would have been born there also. Further Notes to support this is NOT the line that my Christian Miller is from. -Christian Miller Sr. b. 1744 From August, 1780 to May, 1781, he was sergeant in a company of Virginia continental soldiers. A newspaper published at the time of his death states that he was the last revolutionary soldier in the Shenandoah valley, and that his funeral was the largest ever seen in Woodstock. He married in 1771 (1770?), Catherine Wiseman, born in 1746, died in May, 1837 (??). Children: John (of whom further); Henry, married in 1815, Anne Clendenin; eight others, of whom two died young.
