Mrs. Sarah Herrington died at her home on Beach H il l, town of Willing, Monday afternoon, Dec. 14, 1914, at 4:20 o'cloc k. Mr s. Herrington was seventy-one years old and had been a resident of W illi ng for forty years. She was born in Elmira on May 1, 1843, the daug ht er of Charles Fowler and Gilette Van Glider Fowler. She came to Willi ng fr om Elmira, and with the exception of one year at Oswayo, Pa., she h as sin ce resided there. She was married on Feb. 1, 1863 to John Herringto n, a nd besides her husband is survived by the following children: Mrs. El len D avenport, of Andover; Mrs. Hattie Marshall of Cleveland, Ohio; and M rs. De lia Graves of Whitesville. Also by four sisters: Mrs. Scott Smi th of Conev ille, Pa., Mrs. James Bird of Andrews Settlement; Mrs. Christo pher Stoneme tz, and Mrs. Charles Armstrong of Boardville. Funeral servic es were held T hursday at the late home and interment was at Yorks Corners .
