Mrs Saunders w as a daugh ter of the late George and Sarah Murdock Evans and was bo rn on the hom estead on South Hill, a short distance south of Whitesvill e, where the gr eater part of her life was spent. She married Willi am Saunders in t he year 1901. He died 1931. Mrs Saunders who was o ne of the finest of Ch ristian women this section ever knew is surviv ed by two sisters; Mrs An na Allen and Mrs Emma Leach of Hickox, Pa., al so one brother Arthur al so of Hickox. One daughter Mrs Tom Proctor of H emlock, NY survive s. The Wildman ambulance went to Wayland, Tuesd ay night to bring t he body to the Wildman Funeral Home, here, where it w as prepared for buri al and where the funeral is to be held, Friday aftern oon at 2 o'clock.
