Mr Finnemore was a former Troupsburg resident but sin ce the d eath of his wife, had made his home in Painted Post. The Re v. B. J. Grav es conducted the services and burial was made in Mt. Hope Ce metery. The front bumper of the car hit his legs a nd thr ew him over the hood of the vehicle. The car then skidded on the w et pave ment and crashed into a tree. Finnemore died instantly as the re su lt of a skull fracture, compound fractures of both legs, internal hemor rha ge and lacerations of the head and face.
