a. Note:   Sometime between 1860 and 1862, Edouard moved the family from Henryville where his older children were born to Stanbridge where the younger children were born. The family lived on a farm in Stanbridge which per the census data appears to be adjacent to farms owned by his brothers Julien and David. This area today is called "Le Rang Campbell"
  Late April, 1972 saw a family tragedy of significant proportions as three of Edouard's children and three of his brothers' children all died within a few days of each other. The cause of this tragedy is Unknown but influenza or diphtheria claimed many children during this era.
