Birth information from Esther M. Culwell, great grand-daughter of Nehemiah. In 1867, Nehemiah and his wife moved to Gage County, Nebraska. He and his wife (Sophia) are buried in a small country cemetery about 14 miles northwest of Beatrice, Nebraska, and three miles east of DeWitt, Nebraska.
