Henry and Oleta moved to the Green Valley community in 1941 and to a farm near Rantoul in 1946, then moved to Louisburg in 1969. OBITUARY--H. Richardson Rites Slated RANTOUL -- Services for Henry Richardson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Rantoul Community Church United Presbyterian. Mr. Richardson, 84, died Tuesday in the Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital in Leavenworth. He was born June 24, 1892 near DeWitt, Neb. and his parents were Henry Sr. and Julia Burgess Richardson. On Dec. 6, 1922, he married Oleta Dempsay and they were parents of a son, Perry, who died Sept. 17, 1972. Mr. Richardson was a veteran of World War I. Among the survivors are the widow, Oleta, of the home; three brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The Rev. Alan Smith will officiate at the services. Music will be provided by Ramona Ball and Sybil Lathen. Active pallbearers will be Don Davis, Don Lash, Howard Caylor, George Alexander, Sam, Caylor and John Meyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Williad Miller, Buck Burgoon, Bob Andrews, Bill Foster and Jim Seymour. Burial will be in the Ruhamah Cemetery under the direction of Birchard Funeral Home.
