He had lived at 35 Carey Ave. since his retirement in 1962 as a rancher in Roseburg, Ore. He leaves two sons, Ivan Richardson of Idaho and Oliver Richardson of Oregon; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Edinger of San Francisco and Mrs. Elsie Burnham of Freedom; four brothers, Walter of Oklahoma and Henry, Jesse and Orville, all of Kansas; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Shumard of Nebraska and Mrs. Ida Babb and Mrs. Chloe Morgan of Kansas. 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His wife, three sons and two daughters died before him. Funeral arrangements are pending at White's Memorial Chapel. OBITUARY--The News-Review, Roseburg, Oregon, April 21, 1970 RICHARDSON, Arthur, Freedom, Calif., former resident of Myrtle Creek and Dillard, died at Watsonville, April 17, 1970. Born in Nebraska, March 19, 1878. survivors include 2 sons, Oliver, Roseburg; Ivan, Palmer, Idaho; daughters, Elsie Burnham, Freedom, Mable Edinger, San Francisco; 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Wed., in Ganz Chapel, Rev. Dwight Steininger officiating. Interment will be at the IOOF Cemetery, Myrtle Creek.
