RICHARDSON DIES--Body of Pittsburger Taken to Anderson, Mo., for Services. Lewis Richardson, 88 year old resident of 315 East Tenth, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Carmel Hospital. He had been a patient at the hospital since June 4. He is survived by one son, Elvis Richardson, of Anderson, Mo. The body was taken to the Humphrey Mortuary in Anderson Sunday from the Smith Funeral Home here, where services will be conducted later in the week. The Kansas City Star, Saturday, January 30, 1971, page 8 OBITUARY--ELMER M. RICHARDSON Elmer M. Richardson, 64, of Stilwell in Johnson County, died yesterday on the way to the Lakeside hospital. Mr. Richardson was born in Norwood, Mo, and had lived in the Kansas City area 29 years. he was an employee of sewage district No. 1 in Mission. He was a member of the Church of God in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a member of the Grange association in Stanley, Kas, and the Tri-Sate Coon Hunter's association. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Geneva Richardson of the home; two sons, Melvin E. Richardson, 0214 Fairwood Court and Ralph W. Richardson, 6101 East Eighty-fourth; two daughters, Mrs. Arphena Kirch, 9310 West 101st and Mrs. Della Shepard, 5235 Hardy, both of Overland Park; two brothers, Elvie Richardson, Lanagan, Mo., and Dale Richardson, Joplin, Mo.; five sisters, Mrs. Flossie Houston, Olivehurst, Calif; Mrs. Goldie Caldwell, Anderson, Mo; Mrs. Neva Newport, Pittsburg, Kas; Mrs. Violet Carr, Joplin, and Mrs. Zelda Hignight, 605 North Eighty-first Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 o'clock Monday at the George chapel in Belton, burial in the Pleasant Valley cemetery, Stanley. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock Sunday night at the chapel.
