Notes
a. Note:   1941: My first hunting trip at 9 years old. I went up to my Grandpa Friend's on Sunday Dec. 21. Uncle Bill Woods came up. He and I went down on creek to see if we could kill something with my new gun I received from Chamber of Commerce the day before. We seen a nest thought it was a squirrel in it all we could see was a little of hair, so I shot. Down came a coon. We were both surprised.
