a. Note:   Sarepta Jennie Harris was born on November 23, 1864, in Indiana. She married her first husband, James Richardson Jr., on September 9, 1878, in Delaware County, Iowa. In 1921, she married her second husband, John Lawrey. She died on January 22, 1944, in Cherokee, Iowa, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried in Graceland Park Cemetery, Iowa. Jennie's date of birth obtained from Boothby Funeral Home, Cherokee, IA. I have searched the 1930 census for city of Hartley and Hartley Township in O"Brien County, Iowa and the city of Cherokee and Cherokee Township in Cherokee County, Iowa and did not see Mr. Lawrey and Sarapta listed.
