Iowa February 13, 1905 Union - Special Correspondence Harvey RICHARDSON of Sioux City was hime during holiday vacation to visit his parents Mr. and Mrs. John RICHARDSON Mrs. John RICHARDSON has been spending the past three weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Ezra PEARCE. 1979/80: Florence lived in Iowa most of her life. In about 1942 when she became ill, her daughter Gertrude and her husband Ezzy Pearce took her to California to live with them. They lived in Arroyo Grande, CA. She was bedridden for 6 years with a broken hip. She died in Arroyo Grande, CA in 1947 from complications of her hip injury and old age. OBITUARY---The Herald-Recorder, Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo County, Calfifornia, December 12, 1947 RITES ARE HELD FOR MRS. RICHARDSON -- Graveside services for Mrs. Florence Richardson, 90, of Arroyo Grande, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Arroyo Grande cemetery. The Rev. John Wesley Grande of the local Methodist church officiated. Mrs. Richardson, a native of Iowa, died Sunday in a S. L. O. hospital, where she had been confined for the last two years. She came here about six years ago and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Pearce, of Halcyon Road and Dodson Way. Besides the daughter, survivors include two sons, A. R. Richardson, of Paynesville, Minn.; H. E. Richardson of Braham, Minn.; also four granddaughters, four grandsons and 12 great-grandchildren.
