Oregon. There is one receipt from Mattison Bros of $4.90 which you have put down $4.00. I did not intend to charge the dollar which N.B. McIntyre throwed off on appraisement so the difference is but 10 cts which you can arrange to suit yourself but it would not do to leave one of the heirs out entirely. I think his children are entitled to ($19.85) nineteen and 85/100 Dollars. There are eight children instead of seven Their names are H C Royse, McKinney Royse, Margaret A. Boal Justice of the Peace The Belleville Telescope, Belleville, Kansas October 28, 1875 "We visited the thriving town of Royseville, ..." A trip to Albion tp. and the northwestern portion of the county on Tuesday last, convinces us that the good people of that section have had ample reason to boast of the beauty and prosperity of that portion of the county. Everythings looks as though an abundant harvest had just been reaped. In our travels we visited the thriving town of Royseville, where Messrs. Burnham & Grant have just erected a neat two story store building, which they have filled with a good stock of general merchandise. Mr. H. C. Royse and partner have just put in a new stock of drugs and groceries and altogether the town is fast improving which is whooly due to the energy of its enterprising citizens. December 28, 1875 - A grand festival will be held in the new hall at Royseville on December 30th for the purpose of raising funds to furnish it for lodge meetings. January 27, 1876 - The citizens of Royseville have changed the name of that town to Ida. The post office at that place has always been known as Ida, hence the change.
