SCHOONOVER George M. Schoonover, 85, died yesterday afternoon at 6 o'clock at the family home, 709 Grove street in East Vancouver, following a short illness. He has lived in Vancouver the last 26 years. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Anna Schoonover, a son, A. W. Schoonover, a daughter, Mrs. John Wilkinson, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A granddaughter, Mrs. Ida Hook of Sacramento, Cal., was in Vancouver with her grandparents when Mr. Schoonover died. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 10 o'clock at Limber's Funeral Home. Mr. Schoonover during his life was a member of the Christian church. Schoonover, who died at the family home in East Vancouver Wednesday were held at 10:30 today at Limber's Funeral Home. Dr. Herbert F. Jones officiated and at the close of the services at the local mortuary parlor, the body was taken to the Mt. Scott Cremetorium, Portland.
