AMELIA DUVAL, 90, DIES HERE SUNDAY Aged Lady Succumbs At Home Of Daughter; Funeral Held Today Mrs. Amelia Duval, 90 widow of the late Joe E. Duval, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Morris, on Maple Driveway at 6 a.m. Sunday. She had been in ill health for some time. Death was attributed to the infirmities of old age. Mrs. Duval was Glasgow's oldest resident and showed a remarkable activity up until a few months of her death. She was born February 1, 1948, having recently celebrated her ninetieth birthday. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ as long as her health permitted her attendance and had been a member of the church since early married life. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hedrick, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Jennie Teter, Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. J. M. Morris, Glasgow; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Allen Phy at the Church of Christ at 2 p.m. today. Burial was in the Glasgow Cemetery. Among those from out-of-town attending the funeral were Miss Mildred Morris, Nashville, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. Renick Holman, Louisville and Mrs. Jim Emerson, Bowling Green.
