Note:   1880 Census Washington Township, Tazewell County, Illinois enumerated June 28, 1880 Dwelling #169, Family #170 BAYLOR, George, w/m, 61, PA PA PA, farmer _______, Elizabeth, w/f, 58, wife, OH PA PA READER, Mary F., w/f, 24, niece, IL Bavaria OH, lives with family FLANEGAN, Molly, w/f, 12, niece, Nevada OH IL, adopted OBITUARY---In the Tazewell County Reporter, December 22, 1921 Mary Frances Reader was born in Lacon, Ill., February 27, 1852 and departed this life December 19, 1921, at her home on South Main Street in Washington. She was one of a large family of children. At an early age, while living in Peoria, her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. George Bayler, took her to their home where she lived until grown to womanhood. On October 14, 1886, she was united in marriage to Daniel Minch and since has made this community and city her home. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and step-daughter, Mrs. Ethel Muller of this locality, three brothers, Jasper, Henry and John and three sisters, Eleanora, Emma and Elizabeth, all of whom are living in the west. For the last twenty years she has lived in this city. Mrs. Minch was converted when about fourteen years of age and became a member of the Washington Methodist Episcopal Church May 5, 1889. She has the warefare of time and joined the ranks of the triumphant host. The funeral was held from her late home at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. R.W. Ames, assisted by Rev. J.D. Calhoun. Interment was made in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Cause of death: Influenza followed by cerebral hemorrhage.
