The Fort Scott Daily Tribune and Monitor, Friday Evening March 6, 1908, page 4, column 5 Late this afternoon the relatives of the late Mrs. Josie Cole decided not to hold any funeral services at the home in Redfield, but to ship the remains to the old family home at Mallavand, Mo., where a daughter now resides. The funeral services will be held from her home there and the remains will be buried at that place. Note: The old family home was near Malta Bend, Missouri
