Note: OBITUARY--Oregon Journal, September 15, 1973 BEAUTICIAN'S RITES HELD---Funeral services were held Friday at Killingsworth Chapel of the Chimes for Nellie May Poole, 71, who died Wednesday in a Portland nursing home. Mrs. Poole, who was born in Missouri, had lived in Portland since 1940. Before her retirement 10 years ago, she owned and operated a beauty shop. Survivors include a brother, Alex Peebles of Kansas City, MO., and two sisters, Leona Ford of Portland and Virgie Leber of New York City. Interment was in Willamette National Cemetery.
