CARL has bought the corner lot north of the school-house and is building a residence. ============================================== OBITUARY The Rochester Sentinel Wednesday, August 26, 1885 Mr. James CARL, one of Wayne township's most prominent and honored citizens, died very suddenly Sunday evening. During the afternoon and early evening of that day he visited one of his neighbors, and soon after returning to his home he was taken with apoplexy and died in a short time.
