When a small girl she came with her parents to Tazewell county Illinois. For the past number of years she has lived in and around Litchfield, Illinois. She is survived by one brother, Henry Friend of Peoria and a number of nieces and nephews. Her parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers having preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist Church here, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Fred Reed. Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Note: Year of birth incorrect. Her age in 1860, 1870 & 1880 census records indicates she was born in about 1856.
