Note: OBITUARY: Girard Press, October 22, 1874 POOLE--In Crawford township, on Thursday, October 15, 1874, of tonsilitis, Ida S., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Poole, aged 11 years and 20 days. It is said that Death loves a shining mark. In this instance one of the brightest and most happy-hearted children was carried off. Ida was loved and admired by all who knew her, and will be sadly missed from the circle of home, and by her school-mates.
