Certificate: 292 Spouse: James OBITUARY--The Ashland Daily Tidings, Jan. 12, 1955 IDA POOLE RITES FRIDAY---Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Jane Poole, 88, will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in Litwiller Mountain View chapel with the Rev. Everett McGee officiating. Interment will be made in Mountain View cemetery. Mrs. Poole died early this morning at the home of her son, E. H. Poole, 549 Auburn street. Her home was at 126 Van Ness Avenue. Born March 4, 1866, at Terre Haute, Ind., she traveled with her parents to Kansas at the age of three and in 1898 moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., where she lived until 1925 when she and her husband, James, came to Ashland. He died here Jan. 7, 1927. Surviving Mrs. Poole are two sons, Claude H. and Erford (Red), both of Ashland, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
