a. Note:   Catharine Kuhn was born 1 Nov 1795 of German parents. In 1823 they moved from Hanover, Pennsylvania to Columbus, Ohio. After the death of her husband, Catharine lived in Ohio until the Fall of 1841 when she moved to Washington, Illinois, where her son John had moved in 1839. She died September 13, 1876 and was buried in the Old City Cemetery in Washington, Illinois. Could this be Mary Catharine's father????
