Note: Bill and Anna lived for a while in Des Moines, New Mexico but moved back to Oklahoma in about 1917. FRIEND William P. Friend, 91, passed away Saturday in a local nursing home after a long illness. He was born June 25, 1881 in Clinton, Mo., and moved to the Centralia area in 1910. he had lived in Craig County for 63 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edna Cook, Brymour, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Vail, Centralia; two sons, Wilber Friend, Denver, Colo., and Ernest Friend, Coffeyville, Kan.; one brother, Roy Friend, Chetopa, Kan., and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Mrs. Elda Crain Bingham officiating. Burial will be in the Welch Cemetery with funeral arrangements by the Luginbuel Funeral Service of Vinita. W. P.
