Maple, longtime area resident, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, in the First Pentacostal Holiness Church. The Rev. Curtis White will be the officiant. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the White Rose Cemetery by the Arnold Moore Funeral Home. Mrs. Huff passed away on Monday in the South Community Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was removed to Bartlesville by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service. A native of Iowa, Mrs. Huff was born at Des Moines, on Oct 24, 1897. She was the daughter of the later Mary Miller Rudd and John Rudd. She came to Chetopa, KS., where she was reared and received her education. She and Roy Friend were married in Chetopa and they farmed in that area. He preceded her in death. She later married William Doherty and they were residents of Chetopa for several years before coming to Bartlesville, where he followed residential construction and worked as a carpenter for several years. He also preceded her in death. She and William Crocker were married and he also preceded her in death in 1942. She was married to James Huff in 1947, here in Bartlesville, and they followed the oilfield development where he worked as an oilfield driller until his death here on Sep 23, 1969. Mrs. Huff will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of the Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where friends may call for visitation until the service hour on Thursday afternoon. Casket escorts will include the Messrs: Audie Nodine, Glenn Currin, Tom Take, Lloyd Coke, John Parker and Jodie Burchett. Surviving include four sons; Clifford Friend, Osage; Orlie Friend, 221 N.E. Wilshire; William Friend, Ramona; Arthur Doherty, 1570 S. Rogers; three daughters, Lorene Rose, 1009 S. Maple; Lucille Banker, Del City; Betty Cole, Tulsa; twenty two grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Rudd, San Pable, Cal; Logan Rudd, San Pable, Cal; and one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Benefiel, 417 S.W. Bucy.
