Mr. J.H. Wescott and Mrs. Leola Shane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Groat, of the Merchants' hotel, were married in Sioux City Tuesday and returned home that evening.
Mr. Wescott has been manager of the Peavey elevator company here for several years and is a prominent young business man of the city.
He was one of the leading members of the Bachelor's club here and considered absolutely proof against feminine charms, and for that reason his marriage was considerable of a surprise to his friends. however, the "boys" have forgiven him for deserting the club and becoming a benedict, and all join in wishing for him and his bride a happy and prsperous ....sic life.
