 Charter members Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 1813 married Dec. 15, 1814 This listing also includes the names of the five sons and six
 daughters, with their birthdates.
  Bankston book:
 An interesting inscription, written by Peter Bankston in his family
 Bible, reads:
 Peter Bankston was born 1/15/1789; Tabitha Robertson, his wife, born
 11/29/1794; d 12/25/1871. We were married 12/15/1814; commenced
 housekeeping 2/7/1815/ we moved Dec. 1815 and settled on the place I
 yet reside. She left me on Christmas night 1871 for a better world
 above. Since her demise time seems to hang heavily with me.
 P. S. We united with the regular Baptist Church known by the name of
 Mt. Nebo in the latter part of the year 1813. We have raised 9
 children on the present Homestead, eight of whom are yet on mortal
 shore.

  I don't know if the above transcription is correct - 9 children,
 although 11 are listed on the tombstone.
