Note: Samuel Weeks of Danville, VT and descendants with records of families connected:also David Preston Taylor of Lynchburg, VA and some of his descendants" Ernest Albert Weeks; 1933; 64pp. p.16 "The Brick House Family" line of Weeks Capt. SAMUEL WEEKS b. Dec. 1670; a farmer residing on the homestead. He m. ELINOR, d/o SAMUEL HAINES Jr. of greenland, b. 23 Aug. 1675, who had seven children; and d. 19 Nov. 1736. "He was a man of intelligence, wealth, energy and influence in the church and in the town." He is said to have built about 1710, the brick house. He d. 26 March 1746 age 75. In his will approved 30 April 1746, he left his house to his son WALTER WEEKS and a bequest to his daughter MARY, w/o Paul Chapman. Haines genealogy p. 22 SAMUEL WEEKS b. Dec. 14, 1670; m. 23 Aug. 1695, ELEANOR HAINES d/o SAMUEL & MARY (FIFIELD) HAINES. He was a man of much importance both in the church and town. It is said that about 1710 he built the Brick House. He d. March 26, 1746. She d. Nov. 19, 1736. They had 7 chd.
