Note: The 1910 Federal Census shows a Daisy Gardner, age 42, married to Parmer H. Gardner ( Henry Parmer Gardner) and living at 2941 Roxbury St. in Los Angeles, CA. Her age would indicate that she was born in 1868 and is most likely Drusilla Droullard. The 1869 birth year is from the 1870 Federal Census for Grant County, WI and may be wrong. It is most likely that she was buried in the Los Angeles area. Information (Dec 1994) from Maurice Droullard, in the form of a Christmas card, written by Harriet (Gardner) Ross said that Daisy died on Thanksgiving Day. The year is not indicated. The information also included a letter written January 12, 1940 by Daisy to Ada Nora Leindecker (see below) in which she says that she has 4 great-grandchildren with the oldest, a girl, 12 yrs old. Droullard in December, 1994. He got the letter from Bessie Wetter in the early 1970s. The letter was written to Ada Nora Leindecker who lived in Lancaster, WI at the time. The original letter is handwritten by Daisy and this typed version tries to maintain sentence structure as closely as possible. Daisy Gardner was Drusilla Droullard, third daughter of the five daughters, of Peter Colman and Sarah Droullard. She was born in Grant county, Wisconsin in 1868 and died in Los Angeles, CA on Thanksgiving Day 1946. This death information came from a Christmas card written by her daughter, Harriett Ross. The Elmer Droullard referred to in the letter is probably Elmore Droullard (1894-19??), a descendant of John H. Droullard ( 1819-1875) and his son, John Peter Droullard (1853-1920). Death date was 28 November 1946 according to death certificate information received from Jeanine Bass via e-mail, 20 August 1999. Death certificate has place of birth as Brown County, WI. This is questionable.
