a. Note:   healing and relief ending her courageous battle with cancer on Friday October 15, 2004. Lorene was born on March 29, 1943 to the late Archie and Virginia Graham. She was a member of the Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren and leaves behind many close friends. Survivors include her husband, Fred Quesenberry of Floyd; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald W. and Katy Sowder of Chesapeake; granddaughter, Nicole L. Whitlock of Chesapeake; and foster brother, Donald E. Snavely of Copper Hill. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday October 18, 2004 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hebron Quesenberry and the Rev. Jimmy Cannaday officiating. Interment will follow in Red Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home. 1
