Note: [Family File] "Ann Wagner had her way and sometimes it was queer" a quote from Ernest Wagner her nephew in a letter to another family member. Ernest wrote his aunt while he was in the Navy and she kept all his letters in her trunk. The letters are mostly dated 1923 through 1926, they seem to cover each others health, the weather and talking about the crops for the year. Ernerst asked her about the goings on of the community and she kept him informed about everybody. He seemed to be very fond and respectful of her. Ann never married but she had a proposal from a minister she kept the letter in her trunk until her death. Telegram to Mrs. J.M.
