She was 80 Years old. Mrs. Emory was born Jan 31, 1912, in Echo, Oregon She Graduated from Stanfield High School and attended St. Anthony's Nursing School in Pendleton, Umatilla County, Oregon Mrs. Emory married Dale E. Emory in 1932. She and her husband were foster parents to 28 children and were named leading foster parents. Mrs. Emory was a member of the Pyramid Chapter OES 257 and White River Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Survivors include her husband, Dale E. Emory; a son, Dale Jr. of Federal Way, Washington, her daughters, Gayle Shepard of Curtis, Washington, Katherine E. Lewis of Tacoma, Washington, and Patrica Jacobson of Eagle River, Alaska, her sisters, Irene Van Patten of Hermiston, Oregon, Floy Harris of Hermiston, Oregon, her bother Robert Attebury of Portland, Oregon, 12 Grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
