Leser, 63, World War 1 Veteran and former Great Northern Railroad employe, died last night at the Fort Harrison Veterns Hospital, where he had been a patient since last Septemper. Mr. Leser was born June 17 1887 at Dubuque, Iowa. He enlisted in the Army at Portland, Oregon in June 19 1819 and was discharged at Madison Barracks, New York on June 19 1920. At that time he was a private first class in the machine gun company of the 63rd Infantry. He was a cook. For a number of years he was employed as a switchman for the Great Northern Railroad at Great Falls, Montana. Survivous include his widow at 218 Steward Homes and one child.( My Notes, At the time of his death he had 3 sons and 1 daughter and 13 grandchildren, all living) The remains were cremated and buried at Great Falls, Montana
