a. Note:   Montana Death Index, 1954-2002 Thought to be a half brother to Joseph Leser. Leo was a musican and played with Paul Tremaine in New York. Leo played a tuba. On 28 Aug 1952, Leo played a tuba soloist with the State Capital Band. Leo played "Asleep in the Deep" on his large Sousaphone, nearly six feet tall and weighing 60 pounds. Leo has had this instrument since 1928. 1920 Iowa Census, Hardin County, Pleasant Township, Eldora, Iowa State Training School for Boys, Enumeration District 193, Page 1B as a musican. Name indexed as Leon L. Lesser 1930 New York Census, New York County, Brouogh of Manhatten, New York City, Enumeration District 31-1198, Page 63A as a musican
