Note: The Hillsboro Mirror --- obit Wed Nov 1926 F.L. Plummer Died Thursday Passed away at family residence SE of Hillsboro at age of 69. Funeral Services on Arrival of Son: Born in Refugio County; came to Hill county and settled in the year 1917 Fred Littleton Plummer, 69 years old; died at the family residence five miles SE of Hillsboro, Thursday morning at 8:30o'clock. Funeral services will be held upon the arrival of a son v\from Victoria. Marshall & Marshall have charge of the arrangements. He was born in Copano Refugio county, on Dec. 10,1856 moving ot Goliad county when a young man he lived there until 1917 when he moved to hill county. Surviving are his wife; on brother, Granville Plummer of Sarco Creek; two sister, Mrs. L.T. Steele of Victoria and Mrs. L.J. Wyatt of Refugio and two sons G.W. of Hillsboro and R.K. of Victoria. Hillsboro County court house deeds He inherited land from his father after his mother, Mary K. Plummer died intestate. His brother Granville gave his share to Frank. The land was divided with the two sisters, Mrs. LT Steele, Mrs LJ Wyatt. Steele sold his share and Frank lived on his till death. State of Texas County of Victoria Know all men by these presents: That we, F.L. Plummer and wife Sue Plummer, L.T. Steele, and wife J. Connie Steele of Victoria, County State of Texas, and L.J. Wyatt and Wife A.P. Wyatt, of Refugio County, State of Texas, for the purpose of making portion of the following described tract of lnad between the said F.L. Plummer, Mrs. J. Connie Steele, and Mrs. A.P. Wyatt, being three three of the children and heirs at law of Joseph E. Plummer, Jr, and wife Mrs. M.<. Plummer, both deceased, and who at Thein respective deaths left surviving them four children, namely the above three and another by the nae of GW Plummer who by deed of date August 20th, 1906 Conveyed, his one forth undivided intrust in atd to the following tracts of and containing 228 2/5 acres to the Said F.L. Plumer; said 228 2/3 acres being described as follows:........... The above 55 92/100 acres by agreement to be received by the said Mr. J. Connie Steele in full of her interest in said 23 68/100 acres, Now therefore, We, the said F.L. Plummer, Mrs A.P. Wyatt, joined by her husband L.J. Wyatt, for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to use in hand paid by the said Mrs. J. Connie Steele the receipt of which Witherby acknowledged, and the further consideration of partitioning said tract of and of 223 68/100 acres do by these presents sell and convey unto the said Mrs. J. Conie Steele the last above described 55 92/100 acres of land to have and to hod unto her and Said Mrs. J. Connie Steele her heirs and assigns forever.
