Plummer, who passed away at the family home five miles SW of Hillsboro at 2:30 o'clock, Saturday morning, Aug 7th, were held at the Marshall & Marshall chapel at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C.M. Boyd, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Interment was in Ridge Park Cemetery. Active pall Bearer were E.B. Tinker, Allen Cooper, JG Marshall, Ed Brin, John Duncan and Sam Duff. Mrs. Plummer was born in Hempstead county, Arkansas in 1859 . She was married to F.L. Plummer at Goliad in 1893. They came to Hill county in 1917 locating at the farm where her death occurred and had continued to reside there since Mr. Plummer passed away October 28,1926. Mrs. Plummer was a member of the Episcopal church. Surviving are two sons G.W. Plummer of Hillsboro and R.K. Plummer of Austin, nine grandchildren and one Sister Mrs. Ada Fulcrod of Dallas.
