Note: Jasper County Record, April 15, 1937 Charles A. Raridon Funeral services for Charles A. Raridon, 74, were conducted from the Murdoch funeral home Saturday at 2:00 p. m. by Dr. John W. Bickett, pastor of the United Presbyterian church. Music was furnished by Richard Toedt, who sang "Going Home" and "The Old Rugged Cross." He was accompanied at the organ by Lois Hundling. Interment was in the Newton Union cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers: Andrew Byers, Roy Raridon, George Raridon, Walter Fox, Theodore Carstens and Adrian Raridon. Mr. Raridon died Thursday morning at his home, following a lingering illness. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Mary Carstens Raridon; three sons, Earl of Mingo and Roy and George of Newton, Adrian of Baxter and Walter of Butte, Mont.; two sisters, Hattie of Baxter and Lettie Owens of Minnesota and six grandchildren, all of Newton. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Charlotte Wyatt Raridon, and by a son, Orn Raridon
