Notes
a. Note:   Martha is aka Mattie; AG of Muncie, Illinois, is a grandson of Martha. He thought she was a daughter of George Knickerbocker, but I think she is likely a daughter of William L Knickerbocker. We still need proof. Martha lived near and had close ties to the George Knickerbocker family, yet she is not named as a child in his pension packet, or survivor info, nor was she enumerated with him in 1880. AG sent me some info on Martha's family, and I shared pension info with him. It might be that after William Knickerbocker's first wife died, that Martha stayed with/near her uncle George.
Martha Charlotte/Sharlotte Knickerbocker married on 18 July 1888 at Lacon, Marshall Co IL to Francis Marion Green (b 5 Dec 1862 Pontiac, Livingston Co IL d 11 June 1940 Champaign, Champaign Co IL bd Clements Cemetery, Somers Twp, Champaign Co IL).

Frank M Green of Lacon IL and Miss Martha Knickerbocker of Richland IL were married in Marshall County, Illinois, 18 July 1888 by C S Holsinger, Minister of the Gospel.
(note that Lovey Mae, d/o George W Knickerbocker, was also married by C S Holsinger -"Gorge" Holsinger)
--- AG also has marriage record -- it appears to be from a Bible page:

There were some Greens in Marshall Co IL 1880 (Edward Green & family, Isaac Green & family, etc.), but I did not find any very good possibilities for Frank's family. There was a Frank M Green, age 18, in the household of Louiza H Green, a widow, in Graves Co KY in 1880. This seems unlikely as all in the household show b KY, including Frank. However, there are a number of Green families in the area, as well as Davis families, so this might be worth a closer look. One descendant believes that Frank had 2 half-sisters (Lizzie Perry of Streator IL, and Emma Olds of AZ) and possibly one brother. Same researcher found a Frank Green in 1870 KS who could match in age (Frank Green, Elizabeth Green).
