Note: Hi Stumpy, Put my eyes on and found a couple of things for you on the parents of Bertha Davis. Her father W. R., as listed in the obit, is William R., son of Samuel Davis and Elizabeth Helm. Abby Poling's folks were, Martin D. Poling and Martha McKee. Abby was born about 1856 and William was born about 1850. They were married in 1868 in Noble, Ohio. I found some info at ancestry and on the family search, so I have no verification but do have two obits for two other children of Martin and Martha McKee Poling. By those two obits, it looks as if Abby died before both her brother and sister. Look for her sister under Edna Willey. Back to the papers
