a. Note:   Buried at Glenwood Cemetery Section 2, Lot 37 Grave #11 Obituary Notice, Lockport, New York Newspaper, Sept 1929 Hiram G. Hutchinson, 16 year old son of J. Gordon Hutchinson, 70 West Gen esee St., died yesterday morning at the State Industrial School, Industr y, while undergoing an operation for the amputation of a finger. The bo dy was last night brought to this city where funeral services will be he ld Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Kennedy Undertaking establishm ent. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Young Hutchinson was injured S aturday while working with a lineman at the industrial school. An axe whi ch the lineman was using slipped and cut the end of the boy's left, litt le finger so badly that is was decided to amputate. Only a local anasthet ic was used for the operation but it proved too much for the boys hear t. The Hutchinson boy was sent to the school several months ago for runni ng away. He was doing well at Industry, according to Children's Court Cle rk Chester O. Baysor, who saw the boy during a visit to Industry in Jul y. At that time the youth was working as an assistant electrician and to ld Mr. Baysor that he liked the work and his new home. Surviving besides t he boy's father are three sisters and one brother, James, Helen and Dorot hy Hutchinson and Mrs. Agnes Stevenson. The funeral of Hiram G. Hutchinson was held Tuesday afternoon September 2 4, 1929, from the Kennedy Mortuary at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. George A. Jam eson officiating. The bearers were Lloyd George, Ernest Vassaw, Herman Bo wer and William Richmond.
